Attention!
New Jersey Carpenters are eligible for TWIC Card
reimbursements.
NJCCT will still be coordinating and issuing
reimbursement payments, however, the funding
source for these reimbursements will now be the
NJ Carpenter Apprentice Training & Educational
Fund.
Union Carpenter members will now be responsible
for the initial payment of their TWIC card.
There will no longer be pre-payments made at
designated TWIC Enrollment Centers. Carpenters
needing a TWIC card must register on-line, make
an appointment, and pay for their card. Upon
successfully obtaining their card, they must
submit the following documentation to NJCCT for
reimbursement.

Who needs a TWIC Card?
Carpenters working in TWIC facilities at New
Jersey Ports under Coast Card jurisdiction need
the card. If your members will not be working at
those type of locations they do not need a card.
You may want to screen requests for cards in
order to be sensitive to the funding source.
